let you scan DVD barcode by holding DVD up to a Webcam.

Other programs with similar features let you hold your DVD's barcode up to a webcam, and it will automatically get all the DVD's information.

Add a scan feature to search database of backed up dvd's, and other movies, on a home server. I like the idea of Movienizer as a frontend to my movie database.

Add a sub routine which searches for the sound tracks from your movies and then catalogs them for you. Maybe it rip the tracks for you too.

Lookup Top Critics and T-Meter scores from rottentomatoes.com and include them.

Great looking up the IMDB score. Just add the two scores from rottentomatoes.com.

I would like to see a report of what movies are out (borrowed) and who i have listed that borrowed them.

simple sql query against the database based on what i checked in the borrowed column. and add a text box that says who has that movie so i know who nag about giveing it back to me.

Show recommended movies based on owned movies + wishlist, See friends and family movie list with option to request a loan, Add a netflix plugin that would see what movies you own and add them to netflix to help it learn what you like and also...

sort movies by imdb note

It is, untill now and if my knowledge of the program is up to date, impossible to get a list of movies with the cover of the best movies in a genre, or other category. An advanced display list would be cool to have.

Empty / null values and 'not' operator in search criteria

For example, I would like to query all movies that the genre is not setted or the genre is not in (Fantastique, Horror).

Build in the ability to view html pages of movies by catagory and then stream the movies on a lan

Have HTML catalog pages and then have a "play now" button to stream the media on a LAN.

Scan filenames for keywords. I already include year, imdb# and duration in filenames '(2010,imdb=nnnnnnn,94m40s)'. If you can scan filenames, process (user-definable) keyword (user-definable) format AND then pull the information down from IMDB ... t

facebook like button that will post the movie u like

havint a feature that will enable u you link your library to your facebook account so u can click a like button and have those movies listed on your facebook page along with any reviews you might have added to the movie

ornize titles by diffrent cat,date,types, folders, drives....if i pluge my drive i then pick up movies and update the list. if removed the list should ne updated.

Install a tone when a choice needs to be made on a movie in the list

I have literally thousands of movies. I either have to watch as they install or randomly check to see if I need to make a choice. A tone would alert me while I continued with other activities.

add move by barcode captured from camera or scanner

should be able to caputre barcode using webcam or scanned image. Not mannually entering the numbers, this is far to time consumming.
